Earlier this year, Humber representative Emily Mancuso was in Kingstown, St. Vincent to host a recruitment seminar. While there, she had the pleasure of attending a dinner hosted by the local Humber alumni association.
“It was wonderful to hear stories of what Humber was like at the very beginning. These fiercely proud alumni were some of the very first international students to attend Humber! All are doing well, and have led successful careers and built prominent businesses here in St. Vincent.”
The St. Vincent connection was encouraged by former Humber staff member Doris Tallon. Doris helped establish funding for students from St. Vincent, and the alumni association in St. Vincent is working to start that tradition again.
