Back in Jamaica, I ran a digital marketing company. From that experience I realized that I loved business, and while my communication background was useful in my role, a strong business foundation would help me achieve broader success in the business world.  I chose Humber’s Bachelors of Commerce – Finance program to have specific skills in the realm of business. Having faculty who commit to hands-on learning who have been in the industry and understand the nuances that exist in the real world is very useful.Humber's commitment to the practical application of knowledge extends to its students through programs like the Entrepreneurial Centre's Launch Competition. I had the great pleasure of winning the competition.
